Focus
How can problem solving in complex defense systems become a systematic capability?
The project focused on addressing the organization's training need within the context of defense and advanced technology.
Transformation in defense technologies is possible where long development cycles meet systematic foresight.
Technical capabilities in defense projects were strong. The need was to address complex system problems through a systematic method.
Scope
We worked with participants on the TRIZ problem-solving method in training held within the organization. We explored appropriate, efficient and flexible approaches to problem-solving.
Implementation
HOW WAS TRIZ USED IN THIS PROJECT?
We used TRIZ as a contradiction-based analysis tool for complex system problems. Contradictions such as performance–cost and reliability–weight were made visible.
The future of the defense sector lies not in larger systems, but in a greater capacity for systematic thinking.
The journey we designed
