UNIVERSITY SETUP AND ECOSYSTEMS
A university’s impact depends as much on its capacity to put knowledge into action as on the knowledge it produces.
We redesign education, research, entrepreneurship and collaboration with the sector within a single institutional system.
The Changing Equation
The university’s boundaries are extending beyond the campus. Its institutional model cannot stay where it is.
Professions, learning methods, research agendas and technology development models are changing. Universities are expected not only to award degrees but also to prepare students for an uncertain future, connect research to real problems and create value for the surrounding ecosystem.
We do not see a university as a collection of disconnected faculties and administrative units. We address the academic model, student experience, research, technology transfer, entrepreneurship and sector relationships within a single institutional system.
Is this solution right for you?
- Who is it for?
- For university management, academic leaders, and TTO and technopark teams.
- Which business need does it address?
- To bring education, research, technology transfer and sector collaboration together around a shared development direction.
- What changes?
- Teams translate priorities into program, organizational and partnership decisions, connecting research and learning to real needs.
- How is it measured?
- The academic model, program designs and collaboration roadmap are reviewed. Recommendations are compared against student experience and ecosystem needs.
Direction-Setting Questions
Questions that will shape the university’s future
- 01
Which student and societal needs will the university address?
- 02
How will the academic model prepare for future professions and competencies?
- 03
How will research knowledge become value for the sector and society?
- 04
How will TTO, technopark and entrepreneurship structures work as one ecosystem?
- 05
How will AI-Native learning and research change the university’s model?
Kaykayoğlu Solution Areas
We design the university as a whole, from its academic model to its innovation ecosystem.
AI-Native University
- AI is changing more than course content and assessment methods at universities.
- It creates a new model for research, academic production, student support, institutional decisions and access to knowledge.
- We design an AI-Native transformation framework that enables the university to use artificial intelligence ethically, safely and in ways that strengthen human judgment.
- We establish the capabilities, governance and practical applications needed for academics, students and administrative teams to work with new technology.
01AI-Native University
- AI is changing more than course content and assessment methods at universities.

02University Establishment and Institutional Transformation
- For new universities, we design the vision, academic model, organization and student value proposition together.
- For existing universities, we assess institutional strengths, changing student needs and development areas to clarify the direction of transformation.
- We connect strategic goals to faculty structure, governance, human resources and an implementation roadmap.
- We approach establishment or transformation not merely as an organizational chart, but as a holistic model describing how the university will create value.
03Academic Model and the Future of Learning
- We do not evaluate programs solely by their course lists.
- We rethink the learning model in light of graduates' future roles, interdisciplinary working needs and human–technology collaboration.
- We integrate project-based learning, sector experience, research, entrepreneurship and capability development with the academic structure.
- We aim to help students become active contributors who use knowledge to create solutions and value, rather than simply consuming it.
04TTO and Technopark Operations
- We do not see the technology transfer office merely as an interface for managing projects and contracts.
- We design it as a structure that discovers opportunities among researchers, industry, entrepreneurs and investors and manages the transformation of knowledge into value.
- We develop the processes, service portfolios and competencies of TTO and technopark teams.
- We ensure that project development, intellectual property, sector collaboration and entrepreneurship activities advance within a shared ecosystem framework.
05Entrepreneurship and the University–Sector Ecosystem
- We do not treat entrepreneurship programs merely as competitions and accelerator events.
- We establish development systems in which problem areas are defined with the sector, teams validate business models and technologies, and mentoring and partnerships provide support.
- We design long-term collaboration models that connect universities' academic knowledge with sector needs.
- We enable different ecosystem actors to work together not only at events, but also in research and value creation processes.
06University Setup
For a new university, we address vision and mission, institutional strategy, faculty and department structure, modern laboratories and research units, student services, the establishment of a Career Center and Continuing Education Center, and the development of qualified academic and administrative staff as a single establishment program.
We work in collaboration with numerous US universities. The primary focus is on jointly establishing departments, developing dual-degree programs, exchanging faculty members, creating joint research opportunities and launching joint conferences and symposia. Collaboration opportunities with European universities are also explored within the same program. Selected higher education projects in which we have gained experience:

Kaykayoğlu Work System
We design the university not as an institution but as a living knowledge and innovation ecosystem.
- 01
WE LISTEN
We understand the institution’s purpose, academic expertise and ecosystem expectations.
- 02
WE REFRAME
We clarify the university’s future value proposition and model.
- 03
WE CO-DESIGN
We create the academic structure, student experience and ecosystem mechanisms.
