Tor Search Conference
The “Tor Marine Search Conference” was held with Tor Marine over 3 days on 13-14-15 January 2023 at Gazelle Hotel in Bolu. Moderated by Prof. Dr. C. Ruhi Kaykayoğlu and Y. Bora Kaykayoğlu, the workshop was attended by all Tor Marine employees. Areas and opportunities to focus on in 2023 and beyond were evaluated.

Focus
In an uncertain future, which priorities should guide today's decisions?
The Tor Marine project focused on placing the organization's workshop needs within a strategic framework. The organization was looking for a way of working that connected its future with today's decisions.
The account of this project was structured around the organization's own definition of its needs.
Future analysis becomes a guide only when teams translate it into their own decision-making contexts.
Scope
We facilitated a three-day search conference with all of the organization’s employees. Together, we reviewed areas of focus and opportunities for 2023 and beyond.
Implementation
HOW WAS SCENARIO PLANNING USED?
We used possible futures not as a single forecast but as alternative scenarios against which today's decisions could be tested. The aim was to make foresight the language of decision-making meetings.
Rather than predicting the future, a stronger starting point is to design together how we will remain resilient across possible futures.
