Inside the project
Focus
How can AI become part of production management's decision-making and governance agenda?
SNOP Türkiye wanted to establish AI not merely as a tool but as a shared capability across all management levels at its İzmit facility. The program was designed as the management component of a multilayered structure covering tooling, BIW assembly, quality, maintenance, logistics and administrative processes.
The managers' goal was to develop an AI strategy, evaluate use cases and manage safe, compliant adoption.
AI adoption becomes consistent when managers establish a shared language and common rules.
Scope
We worked with the general manager and department managers at the Izmit facility on using generative AI in production-related decision-making and assessing it from a strategic perspective. In the English-language program, we explored applications of generative AI tools in manufacturing and examined sample automation scenarios using Agent Builder nodes.
Implementation
Managers worked on their own cases
Throughout the program, mini workshops focused on departmental problem maps and an AI opportunity matrix for quality, maintenance, tooling, logistics, HR and finance. On the final day, real SNOP cases were selected, prompts and simple agent workflows were developed for them, and the results were presented to management.
The program introduced 20 different generative AI tools and explored sample automation scenarios through Agent Builder.
The journey we designed
- 01EXPLOREDepartment-level pain points were mapped, and AI opportunities in quality, maintenance, tooling, logistics, HR and finance were brought together in a single matrix.
- 02REFRAMEAI was treated not as a tool selection exercise but as a leadership issue requiring management alongside security, data privacy and corporate rules.
- 03BRING IT INTO THE ORGANIZATIONParticipants worked on corporate prompt standards and the SNOP prompt library. Workflows developed for real cases were presented to management.
Kaykayoğlu project insight
AI adoption is not a tool decision. It is about the rules and language managers establish together.
