R&D Management Mini MBA
Delivered in collaboration with İstanbul Sanayi Odası, the R&D and Innovation Mini MBA Program has reached more than 250 participants to date, with instruction by Prof. Dr. C. Ruhi Kaykayoğlu and contributions from other expert trainers. The program aims to strengthen companies’ R&D management infrastructure, make it more systematic, and equip participants to monitor, apply, and lead developments in R&D and innovation. Designed for middle and senior managers working or seeking to work in R&D, innovation, and technology management, the program also covers core topics such as creative idea development, product design and development, trending technologies, and digital tools.

Focus
How can an R&D center move from a cost center to a value-creating system?
The İstanbul Sanayi Odası project focused on addressing the organization’s design / implementation needs through R&D management.
The account of this project was structured around the organization's own definition of its needs.
The value of R&D is measured not by the number of reports it produces but by its contribution to decisions that change the business world.
Scope
We ran a Mini MBA program for middle and senior managers working in, or looking to enter, R&D, innovation and technology management. We covered R&D management alongside creative idea generation, product design and development, emerging technologies and digital tools.
Implementation
HOW WAS TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT POSITIONED IN THIS PROJECT?
We treated technology management not as inventory keeping but as a decision-making system connecting technology to business value. The roadmap was built using the teams' own data.
R&D management is not about tracking projects but about building a bridge between technology and the market.
The journey we designed
