Strategic Roadmap for Gaziantep’s Future
Future analysis and strategic scenario planning using TRIZ tools for five selected sectors in Gaziantep.

01 — What did the organization need?
Long-term future analysis and strategic roadmaps were needed for five selected sectors in Gaziantep. The Global Business City Gaziantep project focused on the need to consider these sectors’ future direction together.
02 — What change brought this need to light?
The project’s framework was to look from today’s sector structure toward areas that would play an important role in the future. The source does not identify a specific crisis or single change event. Future analysis was used to address this long-term transformation agenda.
03 — Which questions did we explore?
Which strategic scenarios can be used to explore the future of the five selected sectors? How can Gaziantep’s long-term direction become a roadmap for these sectors?
04 — What process did we undertake together?
Future analysis and strategic scenario planning were conducted using TRIZ tools. The roadmap for the five sectors was presented to the press under the leadership of Prof. Dr. C. Ruhi Kaykayoğlu.
05 — What did teams start doing differently?
The sectors’ futures were explored through TRIZ tools and strategic scenarios. The source does not separately measure changes in teams’ daily ways of working. We therefore do not present the roadmap project as a behavioral change outcome.
06 — What emerged at the end of the project?
Future analysis, a strategic scenario dossier and roadmaps for five selected sectors in Gaziantep. These outputs were presented to the press. Subsequent implementation and economic impacts fall outside the scope of this record.
07 — What did we learn from this project?
This project translated a city-level future agenda into roadmaps for selected sectors. Setting a long-term direction required bringing sector-specific analyses into a shared strategic framework rather than relying on a single forecast.
