Creative Problem-Solving Workshop
Held on 5 September 2025 with a selected team at Ali Raif, this project was designed to help teams approach problem-solving with a more creative mindset and provide space to recognize their existing approaches. Throughout the program, participants worked on moving beyond familiar solution patterns to examine problems from different perspectives, question their assumptions and develop alternative solutions. The project was led by Prof. Dr. C. Rui Kaykayoğlu and Y. Bora Kaykayoğlu.

Inside the project
Focus
How can teams solve complex problems using a shared language and method?
The Ali Raif project focused on addressing a workshop need through structured problem-solving practices.
Problem-solving capacity comes not from individual intelligence but from establishing a shared method through repetition. This project established that method.
Need, problemi doğru tanımlamayı sistematik bir beceri haline getirmekti.
Scope
We examined existing problem-solving approaches with a selected team from the organization. We worked on viewing problems from different perspectives, questioning assumptions, and developing alternatives beyond familiar solutions.
Implementation
HOW WAS STRUCTURED PROBLEM SOLVING USED IN THIS PROJECT?
Rather than rushing to solve a problem at first glance, we followed a process emphasizing root cause analysis and contradiction-based definition. Participants worked on their own operational problems.
Strong teams are not those that answer fastest but those that can ask the right question.
The journey we designed
- 01EXPLOREA situation map was developed by considering the organization's real needs, current ways of working and external signals together.
- 02REFRAMEThroughout the workshop, teams worked collaboratively on their own problems. Each stage concluded with an output.
