Focus
In an uncertain future, which priorities should guide today's decisions?
The Defacto project focused on placing the organization's project / service needs within a strategic framework. The organization was looking for a way of working that connected its future with today's decisions.
The account of this project was structured around the organization's own definition of its needs.
Future analysis becomes a guide only when teams translate it into their own decision-making contexts.
Scope
We worked with the organization’s teams on planning objectives suited to competitive and market conditions and designing an organizational structure aligned with its aims. We prepared the foundations and processes for the strategic plan and carried out activities focused on presenting it.
Implementation
HOW WAS SCENARIO PLANNING USED?
We used possible futures not as a single forecast but as alternative scenarios against which today's decisions could be tested. The aim was to make foresight the language of decision-making meetings.
Rather than predicting the future, a stronger starting point is to design together how we will remain resilient across possible futures.
