Inside the project

Focus

How can teams generate new product ideas amid routine work?

The Serkon Makina project focused on connecting a workshop-based need with creative thinking practices. Participants worked within their own product and business contexts.

The account of this project was structured around the organization's own definition of its needs.

Serkon Makina's textile manufacturers and customers worldwide trust Serkon's advanced products and solutions.

Creative capacity grows not through workshops but through small practices embedded in daily work.

Scope

We held training and a workshop on creative thinking and human-centered approaches with teams from an organization in the textile machinery sector. We worked on creative thinking methods to consider products in relation to customer needs.

Implementation

HOW WERE CREATIVE TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS PROJECT?

We used creativity techniques not as showmanship but as tools teams tested on their own problems. Each technique was applied to a real product or process problem.

The real resource in product development is not brilliant ideas but the discipline that keeps ideas alive.

The journey we designed

  1. 01EXPLOREA situation map was developed by considering the organization's real needs, current ways of working and external signals together.
  2. 02REFRAMEThroughout the workshop, teams worked collaboratively on their own problems. Each stage concluded with an output.
