Focus
In an uncertain future, which priorities should guide today's decisions?
The Şekerbank project focused on placing the organization’s training needs within a strategic framework. The organization sought a way of working that connected its future with today’s decisions.
The account of this project was structured around the organization's own definition of its needs.
On 7 and 19 March 2025, in the “Technology and Innovation: Digital Transformation in Banking” training organized by Unlearn under the YEP program for Şekerbank’s recent graduate employees and interns, Y.
Future analysis becomes a guide only when teams translate it into their own decision-making contexts.
Scope
We worked with the organization’s recent graduate employees and interns on the role of digital transformation in banking. The training covered innovative thinking techniques and emerging technology trends.
Implementation
HOW WAS SCENARIO PLANNING USED?
We used possible futures not as a single forecast but as alternative scenarios against which today's decisions could be tested. The aim was to make foresight the language of decision-making meetings.
Rather than predicting the future, a stronger starting point is to design together how we will remain resilient across possible futures.
The journey we designed
- 01EXPLOREA situation map was developed by considering the organization's real needs, current ways of working and external signals together.
- 02REFRAMEParticipants practiced creative problem solving and application through their own real work problems.
- 03BRING IT INTO THE ORGANIZATIONA follow-through plan was developed with teams to connect the methods learned to daily workflows.
